We obtained Brown Bert in 1956 and started our line breeding program of crossing him on our own daughters of Bert. Brown Bert was the best over all quality son of Bert I had ever seen. Having a refined head with much smoothness and class. We kept his double bred daughters for our second broodmare band. We then crossed Guthrie Double Star on these mares that produces our third broodmare band. The Brown Bert Geldings and mares went on to carry the top professional cowboy of the Southwest to the pay windows of rodeoing.
